What are the benefits of cleaning with microfiber?

Microfiber cloths are environmentally friendly. They may reduce the consumption of cleaning chemicals in your home up to 90% while at the same time reducing your exposure to toxic fumes. This can make a big difference for anyone with allergies and chemical sensitivities. Microfiber cloths are very durable and can withstand the rigors of everyday use.

What makes Norwex's microfiber the best?

Norwex microfiber is a blend of polyester & polyamide. This fiber is 1/200th the size of a strand of human hair. When this high quality microfiber is combined with the right knitting process, it creates an extremely effective cleaning material. This material can hold up to seven times its weight in matter. Used dry, the static effect created enhances the microfiber's ability to attract dirt and dust particles. As you lightly wipe the surface, the microfiber attracts & draws up even the smallest particles of dust, trapping them in the fibers. Used wet, the microfibers work together to give an excellent cleaning effect. Wet, wring, and wipe away dirt and debris from all washable surfaces. Norwex microfiber is backed with an exceptional warranty of 2 years or 500 washings.

What is BacLock?

Our antibacterial microfiber is one of the most innovative products in the industry! Norwex has developed a unique technology that combines an antibacterial silver-based agent with our microfiber. The antibacterial agent is actually embedded inside the tiny microfiber. The agent is solely designed to inhibit bacterial odor, mold, and/or mildew grown within the cloth. The silver antibacterial fiber has self purification properties.

Why do my microfiber cloths smell sometimes?

Microfiber cloths may smell if the proper care instructions are not followed or if the water in your home or office is hard and high in mineral content. Only use environmentally friendly soaps without fillers when you are laundering to prevent the microfiber pores from being clogged & causing odor. If your cloths smell we recommend trying one of the following suggestions: washing them in hot water, soaking overnight in Norwex Powder Laundry Detergent and washing in hot water, or boiling for 10 minutes to remove any build up on the fibers.

For how long are the products guaranteed?

Norwex backs its commitment to quality with a 60 day, 100% satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, simply return the item within 60 days from the date of purchase & you will receive a refund, less the shipping fees. Norwex will also replace or exchange any merchandise you receive that is damaged or defective to your complete satisfaction with a receipt.

How do I sign up?

Signing up to be a Norwex consultant is so EASY! Instead of navigating a paper application, you can sign up using our simple online application. You will need the following information to complete your application:

Social Security Number--this is required to ensure proper reporting of income received as a result of business transactions
Credit Card number--Norwex requires an active credit card on file. For new Norwex consultants, there is the understanding that you have to sell $2,000 worth of products in the first 90 days; if you do not, Norwex will charge your credit card $200 at the end of your 90 days.
Mailing address, phone number, and other basic information about yourself.

Do I have to do parties?

Technically, no, but I think you should! Norwex is so much fun to share and the excitement is contagious when you demonstrate the products at a party. However, you do not need to do home parties to be a consultant. Lots of consultants use social media (within company guidelines) to share their love of Norwex. You can also just accept orders from friends and family to be a consultant.

What comes in the consultant starter kit?

Great question! The starter kit comes with some basic Norwex products, the mop, and business supplies. See the full list and explanation by clicking here.

Do I have to make a sales quota each month?

When you sign up under the Standard Starter Kit, the requirement to earn you kit for free is to sell $2,000 in 90 days. Most consultants achieve this by organizing 3-4 Norwex parties over 3 months! Once you have met this goal, there are no monthly sales quotas required of you. To stay involved in your business or keep your personal discount, you must sell (or buy) $250 (retail) of product every 6 months.

How much would I make?

All consultants make a 35% commission as soon as they sign up. That's a big deal! If you decide to build your team, Norwex offers management pay, as well. The opportunities are endless! You can use your Norwex income to cover date nights or to replace your income--it is up to you!

Can I just buy the products for my own use and not sell to others?

Totally! As a consultant, you receive a 35% discount on your Norwex products. Don't forget, though, that you need to purchase a retail total of $250 every 6 months in order to remain an active consultant (and keep your discount).
Let me warn you that many people have started their Norwex journeys this way, but after using the products, they couldn't help but tell everyone they knew about them! You may be building your business before you even know it!

Should I keep Norwex inventory in my home?

You are not required to keep an inventory, but it can be helpful in some circumstances. When you organize a home party, guests can order from the catalog and their products will be shipped to the host or customer in a timely manner. It can be advantageous to keep products on hand for demonstrations--many people like to see, touch, and use the items before they buy them--and to have popular basics on hand for people to buy from you in a pinch. I often sell Household Packages, Laundry Detergent, and Body Packs for gifts or replacements when customers run out.

What terms & conditions must I agree to in order to become a Norwex consultant?

When you sign up as a consultant, you will be given the full Norwex Terms & Conditions document and the Policies & Procedures document to read. You should read them thoroughly, but here are the highlights. You must agree to
--earn the Started Kit for free or purchase it and sustain a minimum of $250 in sales over any 6 month period in order to remain active.
--represent Norwex products ethically and according to Norwex's policies.
--correctly submit and pay for your Norwex orders.
--accurately keep your own tax records.
--make no false or misleading statements regarding Norwex or its products.
--seek approval from Norwex if you create media, develop materials or place any advertisements of any kind for use in training, soliciting, or attracting customers and/or representatives.

There is also a Media Policy on which you will need to educate yourself. This document explains how you are expected to conduct your business online, if you choose to do so.

How do I learn about Norwex products so I am confident when I share them?

The best way to learn about Norwex products is to use them! You will get a bunch of the basic products in your Starter Kit. In addition, you will have access to printed training materials (found in your Starter Kit) and online videos through your consultant website. The videos provide a variety of information that you would find helpful as you start your business--how to place orders, what demonstrations to share with friends, how to take care of your cloths, and much more.

Do I need to have a credit card?

Yes. Norwex requires that you have a credit card in your name. You use it to pay for orders before they are shipped. Also, when you collect checks or cash from customers at parties, Norwex will charge your card for the amount due.

How do I receive my commission on Norwex sales?

Cash or Check--Immediate Profit
If a customer pays you cash or check at a home party, you already have your profit. How? Keep reading. When you submit that customer's order, Norwex will charge you the discounted amount for the products that your cutomer ordered. Meanwhile, you have already received the money for the full retail value of the product.
Example: Rachel orders a Household Package for $54.49 and gives you a check for that amount. When you submit Rachel's to Norwex, you will be charged for 65% of the $54.49, leaving you with the 35% profit.
Credit Card--Commission Direct Deposited into your Account by Norwex
If a customer pays you by credit card, Norwex will direct deposit your commission into your account on a bi-weekly basis (every other week).
Example: Rachel orders a Household Package for $54.49 and pays that amount with a credit card. When you submit Rachel's Household Package to Norwex, Norwex will charge Nancy's credit card for the full $54.49; your actual cost to purchase the Household Package is only 65% of that. Norwex will collect your 35% profit and direct deposit that amount into your bank account.
